They have released 22 studio albums, 18 live albums, 37 compilation albums, 39 singles, and 22 videos. <\/span><\/p>\n

Yes<\/strong> is one progressive rock\u2019s most influential and successful groups, known for blending mystic imagery, classical influences, unusual rhythms, multipart harmonies, and jazz-like improvisation. \u2219 Rolling Stone named their 1970s LPs Close to the Edge and Fragile\u2014the latter featuring the breakout hit \u201cRoundabout\u201d\u2014among the 50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums of All Time. \u2219 After leaving Yes, guitarist Steve Howe and keyboardist Geoff Downes joined members of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer to form the supergroup Asia in 1981. \u2219 Shifting to a more pop-oriented sound, Yes\u2019 1983 LP, 90125, included the Grammy-winning \u201cCinema\u201d and the smash \u201cOwner of a Lonely Heart,\u201d their sole No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLove Will Find a Way,\u201d the hit single from 1987\u2019s Platinum-certified Big Generator, was actually written for Stevie Nicks, but drummer Alan White felt it was a better fit for Yes. \u2219 Several past members, including original frontman Jon Anderson, returned for 1991\u2019s Union, which included \u201cLift Me Up,\u201d their third No. 1 on Billboard\u2019s Mainstream Rock chart. \u2219 Members of such diverse groups as Primus, The Flaming Lips, and Wu-Tang Clan have cited Yes as an influence, and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
