1. Escape Plan (2013)

In the first installment of the Escape Plan film series, Action superstars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger team up for breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called “The Tomb.”

In the film, Deceived and wrongfully imprisoned Ray Bresli, a former prosecutor and best-selling author, is the most knowledgeable person on prison security. He is also Lester Clark’s partner in the firm hired by the US federal government to test high-security prisons from the inside, and they have never failed. Even though it goes against his own rules, he agrees to be hired by the CIA to test their fictional “nonexistent” black site The Tomb without telling his team. His tracker is ripped out while he is being taken to the cruel underground site run by warden Hobbes. Hobbes denies knowing anything about the agreed-upon extraction protocol and keeps him locked up forever unless he can find out who the elusive hacker is who may be able to break into the whole bank system. Ray agrees, but he actually makes a deal to escape with Emil Rottmayer, who is the toughest prisoner. Both of them have to fight to get into isolation and play the roles of the warden, the prison doctor Kyrie, and some stooge prisoners. Meanwhile, the senior jailer Drake starts to dislike Ray. The task is harder than they thought it would be because they are on a decommissioned tanker.
